More tables on the way ... The hardest part is getting the top absolutley flat. Anything like a gloss finish will show every little defect The tops are sanded with 80 Grit Aluminium Oxide paper until flat, then 120, 180, 240, and if its going to be a gloss finish, 360 Grit Silicon Carbide paper. Here u can see the first stage of flattening , Pencil marks ( 3B ! ) are made all over the surface, when they are ALL gone , repeat with higher grit till done. The "Board" is 1.5Metres long White Oak and shown here with 80 Grit AO Paper
